How to overcome jet lag quickly
When ever I was on a long distance flight it was crucial to me to be in a good shape at my destination because my trips were not very long but fully backed with appointments.
I simply couldn’t afford not to be in perfect shape. Therefore I discovered - by taking advice from other people in the same experience and by try and error – these two very precious pieces of advice, I wanna share with you.
The first one is to stay always hydrated – especially during the long distance flights. And by hydrated I mean no soft drinks and no alcohol – just pure water !
Your body needs water as an important liquid for all its functions. As everyone knows, we are about 70% made out of water, and with too little of this substance, our body cannot work properly. Especially as it is exposed to this dry and unnatural cabin air it’s important to support our body doing his best job to stay healthy.
The second one is to adapt immediately after borading to the time zone youre heading for. No matter what time zone you’re in right not. If at your destination it’s in the middle of the night, then try to get some sleep, even thought it might be in the late morning in your actual time zone. And never calculate how much sleep you are loosing with this flight, that upsets you and is no help at all. This technique to adapt immediately helped me a lot, even though it sounds very simple. And as a result, I never had problems to sleep in my destination.
